fast-coupling system "STORZ" / part two
Instantaneous connections like "STORZ"-units are mainly used in combination with flat hoses (for example as a fireguard-hose). Symmetric claws guarantee proper and safe connection. Interlock could be done with a simple hook-wrench.
In type 1.4581, combinated with a corresponding seal and hose, this coupling could be used to deliver low concentrated chemical fluids.
As shown on left side, "STORZ"-coupling are available in many different sizes and geometries.
