SMS coupling
SMS-couplings are mostly used in swedish food- and dairy-plants, designed as an own standard.
The seal is formed as an rectangular ring and forms a little bulb when unit is locked. The obvious difference to units DIN11851 is visible on the sleeve nut. The width of the chamfer is bigger so that SMS-couplings could be identified with one look.
In complete appreciation, the SMS-coupling is a normal quality screwed union which warrants CIP and SIP if handling is adequate.
