DIN 11851 unions with male / female thread
DIN 11851 threaded parts form the connection between unit-components, pipe-systems, valves or hoses. If good manufacturing practise is performed, the male-part should be fixed on the pipe-end because the nut protects the liner from abrasion.
CIP and SIP are only warranted with adequate handling and high cleansing expenditure (attention must be put on the collateral seal).
