The clamp coupling is mostly used in pharmaceutical and cosmetic manufacturing units. Simple handling without any hand tools, only with a "clamp", guarantees quickest mounting of couplings, hoses, pipe connections or attaching pads.
A clamp coupling is limited for use in lower pressure ratings between 10 up to 16 bar (relative to nominal size) in cause of engineering structure. The clamp seal ring forms a smooth crevice free joint between the liners, product deposits can´t stick in this area.
In complete appreciation, the clamp coupling is a high quality union which warrants CIP and SIP if handling is adequate.
