This metal tube owns a ripple in proportion 1,75 to 1 (depth / distance) which yields a good cleaning-performance (see sectional view). It is usable for "CIP". Chemical reaction, release of odour, deterioration and embrittlement won´t occur when handling is adequate. The ripple design results in good self purification. Metal tubes are mostly used in food- or pharmazeutical manufacturing plants.
Purification could be accomplished with any commercial available purifiers and disinfectants in adequate convergences and temperatures (also long-run steam sterilization).
