Steam hoses are highly flexibel, abrasion resistant and robust. They are predominantly used for cleaning purposes. Left shown sample is made of NBR (normally used is EPDM). Because of this build-up the hose achieves a very good resistance against fats and oils.
Silicon steam hoses are similar in design and reach analog properties like NBR steam hoses. The max. permitted temperature is a little higher.
